In this article: a Telekom plan with unlimited data that works out to €18.70 a month (yes, really), sale on Apple products at Cyberport, and a last call on the free month of ATWorld coworking and free coffee subscription. You'll also find a few bright spring touches to add to your apartment in this week's Amazon Corner, plus possibly the most fun take on insurance I've come across (or as fun as insurance gets, anyway).

🎊 Tip of the Week: How to Make Insurance More Fun

Insurance is famously one of the most boring topics on the planet – which is why I like what GetSafe* is doing with their products: they've turned insurance into something that's almost, dare I say, fun.

Part of that is the app itself, which is a pleasure to use – clean design, everything in English, no paper letters or phone calls required. That alone is still surprisingly rare for German insurance. The other part is Safepoints, a points system built into the app that rewards you for things like staying claim-free on your liability insurance, doing little quizzes, and even going to the dentist if you have their supplementary dental insurance plan. You then redeem your Safepoints for up to 30% off your premiums, which is a nice bonus on top of already competitive prices.

I also like that you can get all types of insurance in one app. I personally have travel* and personal liability* insurance from GetSafe, and the experience has been very smooth across the board. I’ve also heard good things about their legal insurance* from friends, and I'm seriously considering their dental plan*, because the value for money is one of the best on the market right now. It fully covers unlimited professional cleanings (no yearly limit, which I haven't seen anywhere else), gives you €200 towards teeth whitening every two years, and pays out 75–100% on crowns, implants, dentures, fillings and root canals, depending on the plan. Prices on the 75% plan start at €24.44/month for a 35-year-old with no missing teeth, and there's no waiting period – you can start using your benefits straight away. Check out GetSafe plans here*.

GetSafe insurance is both fun and excellent value for money.

📱 Unlimited Data Plan from Telekom for €18.70/Month

This one is for the data-hungry among us. Telekom and LogiTel have teamed up for a deal that, after stacking a few cashbacks and bonuses, brings the Telekom MagentaMobil M plan with unlimited data* down to an effective €18.70 per month – which is unheard of for the Telekom network, especially with no data cap. To put it in context, this is the same network you'd otherwise pay €49.95/month for directly.

Here's what you get for that price: unlimited 5G/LTE data with up to 300 Mbit/s download, unlimited calls and SMS to all German networks, EU roaming, plus an annual 10 GB allowance for travel to Telekom’s Group 2 and Group 3 countries (including the US, Canada, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, Australia, the UAE and many more). Switzerland and the UK count as EU for roaming, so you use your full domestic allowance there. The contract runs for 24 months.

The €18.70 effective price is the result of a €300 switching bonus (if you port your number from another provider), a €240 Telekom cashback, a €180 promotional credit, a €30 LogiTel cashback and a €39.95 connection fee refund – all stacked together. It’s not automatic, but it's also not particularly complicated: most of it requires either sending an SMS with a keyword or filling out a short form in the MeinMagenta app or on the LogiTel website. The full instructions are on the offer page, and LogiTel walks you through each step after you sign up.

Telekom customers also get access to the Magenta Moments loyalty program, which regularly offers freebies and discounts. If you have a family or a partner, partner cards (€19.95/month for adults, €9.95/month for kids) are also worth a look – they get upgraded to unlimited data along with your main plan, and each comes with a one-time €120 promotional credit. For unlimited data on the best network in Germany, it's genuinely hard to find a comparable offer on the market right now. Sign up here*.

☕ Last Call: A Free Month of Coworking, Coffee and Hotel Spas

Last call on this one – the free month offer will be discontinued after May 31, so if you've been thinking about trying it, this is your moment. ATWorld is essentially the Urban Sports Club of coworking: one app, one membership, access to a network of hotel lobbies, cafés, lounges, and coworking spaces across Germany, with a free coffee or tea included at every check-in.

Locations in the app fall into two categories. Touchdown spots are hotel lobbies, cafés, and more casual coworking spaces – good for a few hours of work or reading with a nice change of scenery. Premium locations are more "serious" coworking spaces, including names like Mindspace and Denizen. In some cities, the membership also covers hotel spas and pools, which ended up being my favorite part of the free trial – I used it for two spa days and really enjoyed it.

ATWorld has a few different plans depending on the type of locations you want access to. The free month gives you the Classic plan (normally €99/month), which includes unlimited touchdown access and 4 premium check-ins. If you mainly want casual spots like hotel lobbies and cafés, the Essential plan at €29/month covers unlimited touchdown access and pretty much doubles as a coffee subscription. For more regular coworking, the Plus plan at €159/month includes 8 premium check-ins, and the Unlimited is €229/month. Extra premium visits can be added on any plan for €20 each.

ATWorld is especially worth a look if you're remote or self-employed – but even if you're not, the free coffee and the occasional hotel-spa detour are reason enough to try it. In fact, one of their taglines is that you never have to pay for coffee again, which in a city with a lot of partner locations such as Berlin, rings true – you can find a place to have a free coffee literally anywhere.
