Today is Amazon Prime Day, and it's one of the few sales where the discounts are the real thing rather than a marketing trick. I went through dozens of deals and pulled out the ones actually worth your money – the home gadgets, electronics, beauty and more. This article also covers a €200 bank bonus from ING, my favorite Kleinanzeigen tip, 75% off a clothes rental subscription, and a fresh batch of supermarket freebies.

📦 Tip of the Week: Cut Your Kleinanzeigen Shipping Costs
Kleinanzeigen is full of good deals, but not all of them are in your city, and shipping costs can quickly eat into the savings – which is why one of my favorite tricks is to wait for their shipping promos, which pop up every couple of months. To take advantage of these, you need to buy directly through the platform using the "Sicher bezahlen" (secure on-platform payment) option rather than arranging things privately with the seller.
There's one such promo running right now: with Hermes, the Päckchen and Paket S sizes ship for free (normally €5.19 and €5.79), and Paket M drops to €2.99 instead of €5.99. Just choose Hermes as your delivery method when you check out and pay through the platform. "Sicher bezahlen" comes with a small buyer protection fee, so it's worth checking the total before you commit – but for heavier or bulkier items, where shipping would otherwise be painfully expensive, free or near-free delivery makes a real difference. The promo runs until July 9, though these offers tend to sell out before the official deadline.

💶 €200 Bonus from ING
ING* is one of Germany's biggest and best banks, and right now they're handing out a €200 bonus for opening a free current account. To receive the bonus, open the account by June 30, receive two consecutive monthly incoming payments of at least €1,000 each within the first four months, and give your consent to receive marketing communications.
The account is free as long as you have €1,000 in monthly incoming payments, or if you're under 28. It comes with a free Visa debit card, which gets you free cash withdrawals at 97% of ATMs in Germany. There's also a linked savings account included, currently paying 3.20% interest for the first four months – a decent place to park some cash while the welcome period lasts. If you want a Girocard on top, you can add it for €1.49 per month.
A €200 bonus for a free account doesn't come around often, and it's worth a look even if you weren't planning on opening a new account. Open your ING account here*.
🛒 Amazon Prime Day
Amazon Prime Day* is the big sale Amazon runs for Prime members a couple of times a year. Unlike some sales that are more marketing than real savings, the discounts here tend to be deep, especially on electronics, home appliances, and gadgets, so I always pay attention and try to time my bigger purchases around it. Today is the last day, so if something on the list catches your eye, don't sit on it too long.
You'll need a Prime membership to take advantage the discounted prices. It's €8.99 a month, but you can start with a 30-day free trial* and cancel before it renews. Even if you've used a trial before, check your account – Amazon often offers another one, or a discount (I picked up a 14-day membership for €1.99 a few days ago).
📺 TV & Entertainment
Samsung QLED Q8F 4K (65 inch) Smart TV* (€559, was €1,399, 60% off) – a 65-inch QLED from a high-quality brand for under €600 is rare, so if you've been putting off a TV upgrade, this is a good opportunity.
Hisense 55E7DS 4K QLED (55 inch) Smart TV* (€329, was €599, 45% off) – Hisense has become the go-to brand for good TVs that don't cost a fortune, and this is a solid mid-size pick.
Amazon Fire TV Stick HD* (€16.99, was €44.99, 62% off) – an easy way to make an older TV smart and the lowest price I've ever seen on this stick.
🎧 Audio
Apple AirPods 4 (with Active Noise Cancellation)* (€133.95, was €199, 33% off) – AirPods rarely drop this far below retail, so it's a good deal.
Soundcore (Anker) P30i – wireless earbuds with ANC* (€29.99, was €59.99, 50% off) – a solid budget pick if AirPods feel too pricey; you get decent noise cancellation for €30.
📱 Phones
Samsung Galaxy S26 (12 GB RAM)* (€719, was €999, 28% off) – Samsung's newest flagship, and a nice price drop for a phone this new.
Google Pixel 10a* (€435, was €649, 33% off) – a budget-friendly Pixel model, and a good choice for a mid-range Android phone.
Samsung Galaxy A17 5G (128 GB, 4 GB RAM)* (€139, was €229, 39% off) – a good option if you just need a reliable phone without spending much.
⌚ Wearables
Apple Watch Series 11 GPS (42 mm)* (€325, was €449, 28% off) – the latest Apple Watch. I bought mine during Prime Day last year and timing it to the sale saved me a good amount of money, would 100% recommend.
Samsung Galaxy Watch8* (€199, was €259, 23% off) – a good mid-range watch equivalent for Android users.
Garmin Venu 3S (41 mm)* (€297.66, was €429.99, 31% off) – a great pick if you care more about fitness tracking and battery life than apps; Garmins last for days on a charge.
🌐 Smart Home, Wi-Fi and Batteries
AVM FRITZ!Box 7690 – Wi-Fi 7 DSL router* (€219.99, was €349, 37% off) – FRITZ!Box is the reliable German standard for home routers, so if yours is getting old, this is a good time to upgrade.
Apple AirTag (2nd Generation)* (€25.78, was €35, 26% off) – for keys, wallet, or a suitcase you'd rather not lose track of.
TP-Link Tapo P100 – smart Wi-Fi plug* (€8.49, was €12.90, 34% off) – a cheap way to dip into smart home; you can switch anything plugged into it on and off by app or voice.
Amazon Basics AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (24-pack)* (€18.05, was €21.23, 15% off) – rechargeables pay for themselves quickly and save you buying disposables again and again; €0.75 a battery is very cheap.
🏠 Home & Kitchen
Dreame L40 Ultra – robot vacuum + mop* (€299, was €499, 40% off) – If there is one household appliance I will never give up, it's my robovacuum. These usually sit at the premium end, so €299 for one that vacuums and mops is a strong price.
Ninja AF110EU Air Fryer (4.7 L)* (€75.98, was €99.99, 24% off) – One of the most affordable Ninja models, a good size for one or two people.
WMF Profi Plus Garlic Press (stainless steel)* (€14.05, was €29.99, 53% off) – mine's a slightly different WMF model and it's my favorite thing in my kitchen. Who likes to chop garlic? Not me.
Ariel All-in-1 Pods laundry detergent (100 washes)* (€23.49, was €31.99, 27% off) – pods usually cost more than regular detergent, but I find them so much more pleasant to use, and this works out to a good price per wash.
🌬️ Fans
JISULIFE Handheld Fan 7 – portable fan* (€23.74, was €28.99, 18% off) – pocket-sized cooling for the commute, a festival, or a stuffy U-Bahn platform.
DREO Quiet Smart Floor Fan (bedroom, RGB)* (€144.48, was €169.99, 15% off) – the premium pick here; very quiet, so a good one for the bedroom if a noisy fan keeps you up.
DR.PREPARE Table Fan (quiet, oscillating)* (€29.44, was €36.99, 20% off) – a quiet little fan for a desk or bedside table.
👕 Fashion and Travel
Levi's Men's SS Original Housemark Tee* (€13.70, was €25) – a plain cotton tee is one of those things worth buying when it's cheap; under €14 for a Levi's one is very good.
Puma Smash V2 L – unisex trainers (white)* (€23.36, was €54.95, 57% off) – plain white sneakers go with everything; a relief if you're tired of every pair costing €100+.
Calvin Klein Men's Boxer Shorts (3-pack, trunks)* (€18.76, was €44.90, 58% off) – that works out to about €6.25 a pair, a good price for a good brand.
Samsonite S'Cure Spinner Suitcase (carmine red)* (€121.49, was €249, 51% off) – I love Samsonite suitcases, they really last: mine is 13 years old. This is a great price for a big one.
🧴 Beauty and Personal Care
Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High mascara (black)* (€8.11, was €12.99, 38% off) – I lean towards premium beauty brands, but I make exception for Maybelline mascara.
Wella Fusion Repair Shampoo (1 L)* (€14.49, was €23.21, 38% off) – a full liter of salon-quality shampoo for what you'd pay for a cheap one at dm.
